  1. Thanks for commenting too. It’s a favourite of mine, too. The exotic setting, the challenge of the battle, the light, the designs of ships and architecture needing to be so exquisite, all combined made this one difficult, but worth the trouble! ~TN

  2. It was a solution to the necessity that it appear plausible, but also exotic and otherworldly. Those beautiful swan ships, the perpetual stars, and yet the terrible battle. All had to collide in some kind of harmony, and the pure, luminescent sea-water accomplished several purposes at once, I decided.
